The town calls it the Rougarou, a Cajun legend blamed for murders that have haunted the area for decades.

As Emma digs deeper, the legend stops feeling distant. The stories circle back to her family, to a massacre long buried, and to a father whose past the town refuses to name out loud. Every answer pulls her closer to something living inside her blood.
